The Liberal Arts and Engineering Studies (LAES) degree is a hybrid BS program that combines the study of Engineering with the study of the Arts and Humanities.

The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are Federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Housed in the College of Liberal Arts (CLA), the Center for Expressive Technologies (CET) facilitates and supports interdisciplinary projects focused on the intersection of human expression and technology.

Housed in the College of Liberal Arts, the Interdisciplinary Studies program provides Cal Poly students with opportunities to explore connections between and across traditional areas of academic inquiry.

Our workshop partners help contribute to Seeds in STEM’s vision to inspire and cultivate the future generation of leaders by engaging students in STEAM-related workshops. Seeds in STEM is opening up applications for those interested in becoming workshop partners for future events. 

The application is open to clubs, organizations, or individual community leaders who are:

  • Local residents of the Santa Maria and other Central Coast communities

  • Affiliated with Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, or Cuesta College
